With this motto, Joy Bogat heralds a new musical phase - bolder, more headstrong, but still warm and inviting. Carried by her clear and extraordinary voice, Bogat's music continues to drift between soul, alternative RnB and indie. Synthesizers and voices, spoken word and grooving beats interweave with a playful lightness that is absolutely infectious. After two EPs, the musician from Hanover is on the road with her debut album "Fabric of Dreams" (2024) and band. Her live shows have an empowering effect, the lyrics range from mindfulness and female intuition to the longing for connection in a globalized world. Inspired by her love of books, living out radical softness and her process of self-positioning as a Black German woman, Joy Bogat lets us share in her treasure trove of experiences, melodies and outstanding musical talent.
