Joanna Duda Trio: Fumitsuke

The Joanna Duda Trio embodies a fusion of jazz, groove, ambient, minimalism with echoes of baroque, romanticism and humor. Natural and synthetic sounds merge into a robust and surprising form. Gdansk-born Joanna Duda simply wants to create "music" rather than present another piano trio, and the album Fumitsuke represents a coherent unity of sound as a result of collectively generated quality. Virtuosity is a crucial element that brings together the polyphony of the band's flavors, while the electronic elements have an organic and osmotic character. The trio was founded at the end of 2017 and already their performance at Jazzahead! 2018 as part of the "Polish Night" received a lot of attention and led to an international tour. The current line-up has existed since the end of 2018 and includes: Joanna Duda (piano and electronics), Maksymilian Mucha (double bass) and Michal Bryndal (drums).
