Rohini Devasher has been fascinated by the night sky since childhood, and her passion for science fiction novels and films continues to this day. She is particularly inspired by the creative freedom and new perspectives of the genre, which are also reflected in her own artwork: the creation of new worlds that lie beyond the Anthropocene - worlds that are both wonderful and strange and eerie. In her lecture, Dr. Isabella Hermann, political scientist and expert on science fiction, will explore the infinite possibilities of the fictional worlds of this genre and show how science fiction influences our perception of the world.
