In the organizer's words:

JAZZ SESSION & SWING DANCE at Giesinger Bahnhof

Once a month Titus Waldenfels comes to the Giesinger Bahnhof for a jazz session!

All instruments, all levels welcome!

We play jazz.

The repertoire is agreed spontaneously, everyone is welcome to bring in their preferences.

IMPORTANT: We want to create a continuous swing groove, with occasional excursions into the Latin American world or Rhythm'n Blues.

THEN: Swing or similar can, should, may, must, will be danced.

The space for this is available at Giesinger Bahnhof, as well as the opportunity to listen in comfortably or simply spend an evening in a pub.

DARE, SUPPORT, PLAY WITH: There's room for jazz solos, there's room for improvisation, there's room to test yourself, experiment, present, meet new colleagues, learn, have fun and much more.

With one PREFACE: We want to keep the entertaining character and the dance groove that jazz, even advanced jazz, has always had and create a common atmosphere in the room that pleases jazz fans, but also brings new ones!

There will be a bassist & drummer present, who will also provide their instruments, as well as an electric piano, a microphone for vocals and the possibility to connect guitars or similar.

I myself will be playing, accompanying, moderating and distributing the solos.
