The Maxi Valdes Hammond Trio has been dedicated to an energetic mix of hard bop, groove and improvised music since 2021. The three musicians combine their own compositions with newly interpreted works by artists such as Thelonious Monk, Michael Brecker, John Scofield and Joe Henderson. Their sound is characterized by a lively musical dialogue in which every moment remains unpredictable.

At the center is the art of playing together: the trio discovers its music while playing, reacts to each other and develops a unique dynamic in the process. This spontaneous interaction and openness to musical risks give their pieces a special depth and freshness.

The Maxi Valdes Hammond Trio sees music as a process - characterized by movement, exchange and constant rediscovery.
