Jazz meets grunge

Conceptually inspired by the rock sound of the 90s, they deliver eight impressive interpretations between cool jazz and lounge on their third studio album "Unsung". Released as an LP on Poets Club Records. With the vision of creating jazz music as a homage to the crossover records of the nineties, Jazz Against The Machine landed a million-selling hit back in 2013 with a video upload on YouTube of the Rage Against the Machine classic "Bombtrack", which also laid the foundation for the two albums "Black Bossa" (2014) and "Come As You Are" (2017), which also caused a sensation outside the jazz press. Since then, it has also been clear that nothing more than trumpet, vibraphone, bass and drums is needed for the full force of the songs to unfold in jazz.

On their third studio album, the musicians also draw on the rich pool of their 90s heroes such as Helmet, Foo Fighters, Nirvana and Weezer, without ignoring hip hop and trip hop (Beastie Boys, Portishead).

With Florian Wehse (trumpet), Claus Kiesselbach (vibraphone), Philipp Rehm (bass) and Philipp Rittmannsperger (drums).
