13 years of JALBD @hansa48! But #XX will be the last round for now. Offspring are born, wage labor & everyday life make greater demands - and punk? Remains just as relevant! Only the subcultural offspring are still waiting in the wings, the diy-nerds & -freaks who, even in century 21, throw together an almost 50-year-old subculture of different genres for one evening & get up again the next morning to clean the store. Despite all this, we want to get together with you again & be a bit dangerous - one last time @hansa48. One day there will be a third Coverfest, because we owe it to Peter Maffay. Wax Minds serve up the Rhythm of Madness.

Wax Minds are four people who have long since lost their minds somewhere in a smoky garage and are now pumping out eggy garage punk that will fry your synapses. They deliver a weird, unpolished thunderstorm of sound that feels like a fever dream and sticks in your bones for a long time.

The songs? Imagine nightmares turned into earworms - lyrics about the price of the past and the twisted pursuit of perfection. It's raw, it's broken, and it goes straight to your brain.

Klengel, Clausen, Kock and Gäde. These names could be written on a stamped brass plate of a sleazy law firm that also does business in gas, water and shit. The 3 recreational cops Kocky, Ufo and Joy Boy weave a fluffy sound carpet of old school punk, pop, indie and electro...plus the sexy voice of Kiel's Grand Seniör of Northern Punk, Jott.Gäde...a Christian Kohlund with a pleasant fuzz ...stories about death, life, sex and Bluez.Tiere, idols, depression and spring, which will come again next year and if it's the last one, then that's how it is....

The Nest

Early anarcho and peace punk vibes mixed with cold post punk, for which there seems to be a nest somewhere under Berlin, from which formidable bands like this one have been sneaking out in recent years.

No bullshit punk with a rock'n'roll edge. Perfect for intentionally or unintentionally tipping your beer and being absolutely okay with it.

The 80s have called and want to...pat Cosey Muellers on the back appreciatively. Minimal synth sounds paired with just the right amount of guitar reverb and too cool for school vocals. Yesses!
