[DE] The Ljubljana-based artist, known from bands such as Škm banda, Hexenbrutal and the celebrated freak-folk trio Širom, presents fascinating soundscapes between Zen minimalism, freak-noise folk music and experimental composition.

With banjo, gembri, balafon, kalimba, guitar, synthesizer and other unusual instruments, Iztok conjures up hypnotic melodies and complex rhythms - often played on several instruments simultaneously. His current tour focuses on his new solo album "Spaces XIII", a masterpiece of intimacy and musical diversity.

Known for his work with the dreamy freak-folk trio Širom, the dynamic post-rock band Škm banda, and the chaotic noisecore duo Hexenbrutal, Iztok has carved a unique path in the world of experimental music. Using an array of instruments, including banjo, gembri, balafon, kalimba, percussion, steel drum, guitar, synthesizer, and Morin khuur, he creates intricate and otherworldly compositions. As a solo artist, he delves into the realms of freak noise folk, blending genres and playing multiple instruments simultaneously to produce mesmerizing performances.

[Embryo is a unique music collective from Munich, combining Kraut Rock Jazz, free improvisation, inner and outer European rhythms and sounds like no other. Embryo has existed since 1969, spanning generations, genres and borders. An international collective that has evolved into a unique music project and has already played with Mal Waldron, Okay Temiz, Fela Kuti, Charlie Mariano and many others. Marja Burchard, daughter of founder Christian Burchard, took over the band she grew up in in 2015. Since then, Embryo has lived on with her, constantly searching for new sounds, rhythms and ideas from those who think differently.
