Calving glaciers, brightly colored mountains and hissing geysers, thundering waterfalls, endless expanses and glowing volcanoes, all bathed in fascinating light: nature filmmaker Stefan Erdmann has been traveling to Iceland for over 20 years. After more than 30 trips and 20,000 kilometers by car and on foot, he has created a very personal media symphony of images, music and narration. Whether on the black lava beach of the North Atlantic, thundering on the meter-high waves, in the mystical Westfjords, with Icelandic horses or on a multi-day highland crossing full of solitude - with his impressions, experiences and adventures, he has created a unique declaration of love to the island state in the far northwest of Europe with incredible recordings and specially composed music.
