Inspiration & Talk: Warum wir Communities für die Gestaltung der Zukunft brauchen

In the organizer's words:

We are facing major challenges: Climate change, the energy transition, securing healthcare, sustainable mobility - the list is long. We will not be able to solve them alone. Solutions and innovations require exchange and collaboration across all sectors, disciplines and borders.

Why are communities so important for the creation of something new? How do you build an innovative community in which people get involved and work together? What framework do they need? And how can communities contribute to making our cities more liveable?

We will discuss these questions at Inspiration & Talk on February 18, 2025 at 6:30 pm at Munich Urban Colab.

• Nadine Vicentini, Managing Director of Bayern Design GmbH, will give an insight into this year's mcbw motto: "How to design a vibrant community?"
• Marco Eisenack, founder of MUCBOOK and the Munich Innovation Crew, shares his experience in building communities and successful interim uses
• Sonja Pham, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Grafikmagazin, talks about networking in the creative quarter and with the creative scene - and the associated potentials
• Julia Christiansen, Director City Collaboration at the Department of Labor and Economic Affairs of the City of Munich, shows how the City of Munich uses the Munich Urban Colab to network city departments and develop urban solutions
