Ingo Metzmacher dirigiert Werke von Schostakowitsch, Ligeti und Hartmann

In the 2024/2025 season, Patricia Kopatchinskaja and the SWR Symphonieorchester will once again team up for a fruitful collaboration: In the subscription concert in February 2025, she combines Dmitri Shostakovich's First Violin Concerto and György Ligeti's "Mysteries of the Macabre", two highly expressive, ambiguous works full of abysmal humor, and appears as the soloist in both. Karl Amadeus Hartmann's Third Symphony and Ligeti's "Lontano" complete an impressive concert of 20th century music.
