The bar is the stage. Gratwohl and the Backes invite you to an evening of theater in Cologne's Südstadt district. The audience sits in the middle of the scenario of this timeless, classic ambience of the Backes.

A bar. Max is sitting at the counter.

"How are you?" the bartender asks him. Wrong question! At this moment, the bar becomes his stage. In a dialog with himself, Max wanders through space and time on his stool. In search of his center, the maelstrom of his mental merry-go-round pulls him ever closer to the abyss.

With his Swiss brother in tow, he embarks on a journey from phrase-mongering to true being. On a journey through to himself.
