In the organizer's words:

"The line that moves in circles - everyday materials, soft and pliable, form the flow, the poetry of the two artists Annebarbe Kau and Reinhold Engberding."

They are not primarily interested in making statements, but rather in allowing the audience to participate in their view of the world.

"Mistakes, holes in the system are small flashes of thought, pauses / they are in flux; whether they are positive is questionable, but they are perhaps necessary."

Annebarbe Kau will present various aspects of her work in the exhibition at the Kieler Kunstverein Haus 8. The video "Windabgeworfenes Licht" will be installed like a window in the room, showing the artist's view of time. In addition, she will show graphic works on canvas, wood and paper-wrapped wire, installed as a playful interaction.

Reinhold Engberding has been working with used textiles and worn clothing for many years - increasingly, other supposedly worthless everyday objects are also being added. These objects are often from the estates of people familiar to him, but he avoids a purely narrative level; it is more important to him to work out a certain intrinsic lawfulness of these things.
