„Ihr wisst nicht, wo mein Mut endet“ – Frauengeschichte(n) aus dem europäischen Widerstand

They came from more than twenty European countries and resisted the reign of terror of German fascism. They fought for the values of freedom, peace and human dignity, risking their lives in the process. The resistance fighters - including writers and artists such as Josephine Baker, Madeleine Riffaud, Maria Leitner and Claude Cahun - give courage for today's stand against neo-fascism, right-wing populism, xenophobia, sexism and war. Dr. Florence Hervé, French-German author, talks about her book "You don't know where my courage ends". 80 years after the liberation from fascism and war, she recalls the long-forgotten and often invisible women's resistance throughout Europe.

The event is part of the "Düsseldorf remembers - 80 years of the end of the war and liberation" campaign. A cooperation with the Mahn- und Gedenkstätte Düsseldorf.
