Ich habe König!

In the organizer's words:

Playing king and queen is fun! Putting on a royal crown and a royal dress is fun. But what is it like to be a king or queen? Do they make their own rules and don't have to follow any themselves? That would be great: a life of luxury - you can do what you want and everyone else has to go along with you! But what is it like for those who are not king or queen? Objects and things are used to tell little stories about kingdoms, how they come into being and how they disappear again. The king of the teddy bears talks about his everyday life, a lion tries to be dangerous and a sheep is also there.

Pierre Schäfer, puppeteer and founding member of Theater Handgemenge, is one of the most creative and interesting artists in this genre and has already made several guest appearances at T-Werk in various constellations. "Ich habe König!" is the second children's theater production that Pierre Schäfer has developed together with puppeteer Veronika Thieme.
