space-rock-infused shoegaze drone kraut meets electronic-experimental-mongolian nu jazz

Canadian experimental guitarists Aidan Baker (of Nadja) & Eric Quach (aka Thisquietarmy) formed Hypnodrone Ensemble in Berlin 2014. The group has performed and toured extensively in Europe, including appearances at such festivals as Borsig Ampfest, Psych In Bloom, Beautés Soniques, and supporting such bands as Zu, MoE, and Sun Worship. Newest album: The Problem Is In The Sender - Do Not Tamper With The Receiver (July 2024).

NaraBara(Nomad City Records), born from the nightclubs and livehouses of Beijing, China, is a musical collective blending the complex harmonies and intricate rhythms of jazz with the mystical storytelling and atmospheric qualities of Mongolian folk. Their European tour is helmed by EBB Music.

The concert is supported by the Verband für aktuelle Musik Hamburg and the Behörde für Kultur und Medien Hamburg.
