Science slam with students from the University of Mannheim

Historic electoral successes of right-wing parties, the Deckert trial, right-wing rock, the hooligan scene, conspiracy theories: Right-wing extremism has repeatedly made the headlines in Mannheim and the surrounding area. Students at the University of Mannheim have researched various facets of the story, from local protagonists to central networks. In addition, reactions from the majority population and affected minorities to right-wing extremism were examined. In a science slam, the Master's students will present their findings, which range from the post-war period to the present day. They will offer a well-founded insight into the historical background of right-wing extremist movements in the region.
