With soprano saxophone, Hardanger fiddle and nyckelharpa and a further 20 instruments, the 8 multi-instrumentalists repeatedly bring the crowds to sweet ecstasy. Always communicative and narrative, the friends, ex-flatmates and twins know how to surprise the ears with ingenious arrangement ideas. It gets you dancing, exudes positive energy and passion and connects people in a very special way. Irish traditionals, Scandinavian circle dances and wild polka fidgeting are what make this intelligent mix of music so irresistible. Serbian and Romanian originals included. The eight musicians regularly gather input at festivals and international collaborations. Difficult to put into words, they cast a spell over you when they alternate between solos and fat instrumentals - and then they even start singing. Hepta Polka plays for their audience and gives them the evening they may have needed for a long time, full of musical energy, dreamy listening and unbridled abandon.

The eight fundamentally different characters from Hamburg, Berlin and Copenhagen have been touring northern Germany for 7 years and have already won themselves stages such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Fabrik Altona and treibsAND Lübeck.
