HENRY AND THE WAITER - WINTER CLUB TOUR 2024

HENRY AND THE WAITER - this is how Henrik Steigerwald poetically imagines his artist alter ego: Two souls live in the chest of the musician from Frankfurt am Main. Two souls that ensure his artistic output, in teamwork so to speak. On the one hand, there is THE WAITER - the waiter is a lovable man of life who is constantly looking for inspiration for new songs and often staggers irrationally through the world. As a dreamer, a traveler or an observer.

And as soon as the WAITER has gathered enough inspiration, he passes on a basket full of impressions and images, text ideas and stories, experiences and observations to his second self: the brooding, thoughtful and more rational HENRY, who sits alone in an imaginary room by the window, always having enough time and careful consideration before he completes the rough diamonds and song ideas of the WAITER with his voice. One is extroverted and inquisitive, the other an amiable drinnie with a love of detail: in their interplay, they form the unity that creates the energetic melancholy of HENRY AND THE WAITER and manifests itself in Henrik's existence as an artist.

The musician has given his heart to the guitar: he refines his productions and arrangements with his unique picking and strumming style, creating an infectious dance vibe. Along the axis of Erfurt, where Henrik grew up, and FFM, where he moved back to after graduating from high school, Henrik perfected his skills as a musician in several bands before concentrating exclusively on HENRY AND THE WAITER - his place where he can realize his own compositions with his self-written lyrics exactly as he envisions them. And what makes this mix truly unique is his unmistakable voice and casual way of singing: Cool, danceable, international pop with a lot of indie influence and enormous festival potential is his trademark, vintage guitars, electronic beats and energetic, melancholic lyrics merge into a pleasant mix, always somewhat thoughtful and melancholic, but definitely optimistic, hopeful and rousing in the delivery. Live, the one-man project HENRY AND THE WAITER is supported by a band to perfectly realize Henrik's multi-layered productions.

Henrik Steigerwald has been active as HENRY AND THE WAITER since 2017 and can boast some impressive successes thanks to a remarkable output and an infectiously positive flow: With over 140 million streams on Spotify alone, he has built up a large and loyal following who love his music - and want to experience him live.
