Hengameh Yaghoobifarah: »Schwindel«

Dating isn't just about flying high, it's also about finding the right time to leave. And when two ex-partners suddenly appear in the middle of a date, you can't be far enough away. The way out: off to the roof! At least that's what Ava does, fleeing the situation up to the 15th floor - an alternative flight of fancy, so to speak. And then the three people left behind follow. They'd all better be free from giddiness, because the inevitable happens: they get stuck on the roof, without cell phones or keys. In Vertigo, Hengameh Yaghoobifara tells of the turmoil of (queer) desire and of four people who find themselves in an exceptional situation and have a common mission: to get down from the roof and, if possible, not lose their nerve or the ground beneath their feet. Salon host Lida Shams-Mostofi asks whether they succeed.
