In this participatory performance, the performance collective goes in search of ghosts. In the knots, interweavings and lost threads of society, it searches for the undead whose legacy shapes us today and traces the shadows of common (non-)ownership.

I have read that inheritance takes place in the dark. Inheritance is a process that eludes the public eye. You don't talk about inheritance, or do you? Inheritance is always preceded by death. And then we don't ask: So? Did you inherit? We want to comfort the person who has suffered a loss. But the exciting thing is that often people have died, but they live on as ghosts in the inheritance. Do you believe in ghosts? Inheritance is an exchange between the dead and the living, weaving us together and sometimes weaving itself far into the future of the inheritors who have not yet been born. We inherit privileges, world views, real estate. We inherit money or poverty or debt. We inherit educational opportunities and affiliations. We inherit a used car or the family jewels or a corporation. We inherit spirits. Have you ever inherited any of these things? If so, turn your light on for a moment and then turn it off again.
