After the murder of his father, Derek (Edward Norton) seeks retribution and takes part in racist attacks. One day these end in a brutal murder - Derek is sent to prison for three years. When he is released, he is ashamed of his past. To his horror, however, Derek discovers that his younger brother Danny (Edward Furlong) is now also a supporter of a right-wing extremist group. From then on, the ex-convict tries to make Danny realize what a wrong path he is taking...
