Healing 4 the Future – Eröffnung der BIPoC-Therapieplattform

The Cologne regional group of the Initiative of Black People in Germany (ISD) and DAZ e. V. are delighted to launch their long-standing volunteer project: a BIPoC website that is critical of racism and aims to facilitate access to therapy and counseling. This platform is a milestone in the promotion of mental health and anti-discrimination work for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPoC). It offers urgently needed therapy places in a context that is critical of racism and closes a major gap in the healthcare system.

The aim is to find therapists who understand and respect the specific needs and perspectives of BIPoC. At the same time, the aim is to facilitate access to therapeutic resources for people who are burdened by discrimination and racism.

The Black History Month program in Cologne takes place in cooperation with our Office for Integration and Diversity. The event "Healing 4 the Future - Opening of the BIPoC Therapy Platform" will take place digitally and is offered by the association DAZ e.
