On February 1, you can look forward to a unique concert evening where two generations of electronic music meet: Cologne-based electronic musician Ümit Han and Krautrock legend Harald Grosskopf invite you to a live electronic concert, full of improvisation and hypnotic sounds.

Harald Grosskopf, known from bands such as Ash Ra Tempel and his collaborations with Klaus Schulze, is a formative figure in electronic music. He was the first drummer to revolutionize the combination of percussion and sequencers. With over 100 releases, including the cult album Synthesist and the collaboration with Kraftwerk co-founder Eberhard Kranemann, he is a living legend of electronic music. His latest album "Strom" was released in September on Bureau B, followed by his autobiography Monsieur Séquenceur: My Life as a Drummer and Electronic Musician.

Ümit Han, part of the Cologne label Kompakt since 2022, inspires with heart-warming ambient compositions, released on the renowned Pop Ambient series, among others. He has remixed artists such as Max Cooper, Minilogue and Gabriel Ananda, published numerous works on Traum Schallplatten and produced the TV program for experimental audiovisual live performances lsb.TV Cologne. With international collaborations and innovative soundscapes, he is one of the most exciting artists working today.

Both artists are currently working on their first joint studio album and will give an exclusive foretaste at this concert.
