20 years for you - anniversary tour

HÄMATOM are celebrating their 20th anniversary as a band: For the celebration on January 25 at Stuttgart's Wagenhallen, the masked metallers are plundering their home bar and party hat collection, stuffing old mementos from the band's eventful history into their cases and inviting all freaks to join them in celebrating their milestone birthday in style.

This tour will be something very special for many reasons: In August 2023, HÄMATOM bassist WEST died unexpectedly and the band went through by far the worst phase of its existence. At the time, hardly anyone could imagine ever being on stage again. The pain was too deep. The loss was too hard. But after months of mourning and reflection, NORD, SUED and OST decided to carry on and defy this stroke of fate. They decided to continue touring the country for, and in a very special way with, WEST and to dedicate the upcoming album "Für Dich" to him. The band left the bass position vacant and found a guitarist in ROSE, who doesn't replace anyone but completes the masked bunch perfectly.

NORD: "With the upcoming album and the accompanying tour, we want to build a monument to our beloved bassist WEST, who left us far too early. His energy and spirit will live on in our music as well as in our new stage show. At the same time, we are also happy to introduce our new guitarist ROSE to the Freaks. She is simply the perfect match for this band and with her fresh, carefree nature she is very much responsible for us having fun in life and on stage again. I'm sure it will be a very emotional, but also unforgettable tour."
