G-Folk
Hak Baker is a proud East London musician with grime roots who challenges preconceptions with his self-designed G-Folk. He offers ultra-honest, relatable and raw tales of modern British life.
At just 14 years old, Hak was already a fixture on the London grime scene with his collective Bomb Squad. After moving out of home at the age of 15 and several brushes with the law, a turbulent background saw Hak develop into a highly accomplished artist whose combination of stripped down folk songs, raw vocal delivery and quick-witted East London lyricism is truly unique. He has collaborated with The Streets, Pete Doherty and Rudimental and can be heard on the FIFA 22 soundtrack. His first long player World's End FM, produced in part by Dan Carey (Speedy Wunderland) and Karma Kid (Rudimental), will be followed by a tour of Europe.
