Hafenbounce - Bounce to the Heaven!

Every first Thursday of the month, the over 100-year-old harbor station between Hamburg's fish market and the Elbe beach is transformed into a vibrant meeting place for musical creativity. Musicians - whether instrumental or vocal - come together to celebrate the magic of the jam in spontaneous sessions. Charismatic host and musician Khalil Kry leads the jam.

Hafenbounce is more than just a jam session - it is a space of appreciation for music and poetry and personal stories. Respect for art, respect in the audience, respect on stage.

Opening Act David Friedrich

If you make the mistake of reading the news, taking a look at the comment columns on the Internet or - God forbid - going to therapy, the world will most likely just seem too big for you. David Friedrich has done all this to excess and is now faced with a pile of rubble. In his new stage program, you can find out how he still managed to carry on with his head held high and full of confidence. Whether it's too hard or just hard enough is up to you to decide. In any case, the result is as rousing as it is entertaining. The multiple German-language poetry slam champion entrusts himself to the audience, making them laugh, fall silent and think. He does not claim to lecture anyone, to politicize or to comment satirically on reality. He dares to take a much riskier step: for the first time, he simply shows himself to be completely genuine and undisguised. An evening full of music, live literature and stand-up comedy. In March 2024, his latest book "doll" was also released as a musically interpreted album. The music will be provided by Hamburg music producer Fabian Horstfeld.
