The installation "(n)orient" is part of a series of site-specific commissioned works that create a meeting space with art in the staff entrance of Haus der Kunst. Every year, artists from Munich are invited to react to this space and create a new work. This year, Gülbin Ünlü transforms the passageway into a transitional space. The audience is invited to imagine other worlds and view them from a new perspective: a post-science fiction realm in which the narrative of foreignness is reclaimed and reinterpreted.
