On the border between Belarus and Poland, the escape for a Syrian family and a woman from Afghanistan becomes a grotesque journey through hell in view of the brutality with which the migrants are driven back on both sides. Shot in black and white, the multi-perspective drama focuses entirely on the events in the forests along the border and depicts the erosion of human rights in all its severity. The harsh indictment of European asylum policy is also given a hopeful note by looking at the civil society commitment of the Polish activist group >>Grupa Granica<<. Worth seeing from 16.
