This year, Blue Mermaid is the drink at the bar, the schnapps fountain gurgles with promise, the casino invites you to play a fun game and the pool - yes, the pool on the sun deck - is of course, as always, the focal point for every flirt as well as for the really big dramas and their consequences. Only when the tombola auctions off the props from 15 years of Heimathafen Neukölln does a brief moment of calm return to the poolside.

The evening is hosted by none other than the grande dames of Neukölln themselves, who are back from their world tour: The Rixdorfer Perlen! They have seen everything and experienced everything, sailed around the Greenland icebergs and clogged the Suez Canal. But one thing is clear: when the pearls get going, there's not a dry eye in the house.

And of course the very best dance music will be provided: DJ Daisy D'Or, DJ Nachlader and DJ King Dynamite (Soulexplosion) will be playing: Soul Train from Ipanema to Acapulco!
