IREM [Black Metal]
IREM was founded in 2003 in Altranstädt (near Leipzig). It was to take until October 2004 before the band was complete and a program was put together. Musically, they oriented themselves towards the well-known black metal greats of the 90s and 2000s. However, as most of them had just picked up their instruments for the first time, it would take some time before they developed their own melodic black style. There are currently five full-lengths in the discography.
