A passionate, defiant, witty, poetic homage to the transformative power of the dancefloor.

Spotlights glisten, grooves simmer, dancers unleash a cracking homage to the culture of the night, the power of the dancefloor. GLITZ is a dance performance and pop concert. The Sebastian Weber Dance Company, known for its energetic, visually powerful tap dance, returns to LOFFT with a big band! The piece celebrates the transformative power of pop. Genres such as disco, funk, hip-hop and techno emerge from the "underground", articulate claims to freedom and empowerment, shake up social norms and thus turn the dancefloor into a political space. However, this is not the politics of news, but of passions and utopias, of solidarity and alliances, of dancing bodies.
