Solo concert

Since his self-titled debut in 2008, Gisbert zu Knyphausen has been decontaminating German-language pop music with songs that express hesitation and doubt in soul-strengthening melodies. In addition to three of his own albums, Knyphausen has collaborated with the late Nils Koppruch, released several albums with the indie supergroup Husten and has been organizing a music festival with artist friends from Altın Gün to Chilly Gonzales at his parents' vineyard in Hesse since 2009. He has often been described as a master of melancholy, which he already expressed on his second album "Hurra! Hooray! Not like this", he shouted: "Fuck you in the knee, melancholy, you'll never get me down!". On this album, he also outed himself as a friend of clichés and twinkling stars and, as a Hamburg resident, wrote one of the most beautiful songs about cranes, these "huge animals with metal claws and neon light eyes" that make his heart rumble. Knyphausen has also played several sold-out concerts at the former Kampnagel crane factory since 2009 and last performed here in 2021 with his version of Schubert songs. Now the singing songwriter is returning to play solo songs from his catalog of intimate procrastination pop art.
