Gilly Alfeo: Gilly Con Carne

Gilly Alfeo is an improv artist, jazz pianist and actor. After 22 years as a musician, performer and artistic director at the Springmaus improv theater, he now presents his first solo program: Gilly Con Carne!

We hear what moves the world, sometimes from the perspective of the Italian Ruhrpott soul, sometimes from the brain of the laziest jazz pianist in the world. We get it sung, cooked, improvised and, above all, served to us in a well-tempered and humorous way.

The recipe: 250g of fascinating, 1 can of coarse punchlines and 1 teaspoon of wisdom. Fry the fascinating in a head of hot stupid. Pour in 375ml of guff, stir in music and leave to think for a moment. Add the drained punchlines and a pinch of wisdom, half cover and leave to work for 5 minutes on low criticism. Rethink occasionally. A Kölsch tastes good with it.
