Gigolo Tears & Euroteuro

EUROTEURO start their "Music for People" tour in 2025. Peter T. and Katarina Maria Trenk are traveling through German-speaking countries with their expressive synth-pop. They have their latest vinyl record "Volume III" with them. "Euroteuro's big moments are New Wave, Neue Deutsche Welle and a bit of post-punk. Three genres that have already played ping pong with music history. Connoisseurs will be delighted by quotes such as a Suicide rhythm machine or the Casio sound of Trio or the citation of Francophile chanson electropop, also a relic from the New Wave era. Bishin to Neue Deutsche Welle Schlager, which Euroteuro give a dignity that the originals never possessed.

As a pop newcomer from Berlin, Gigolo Tears is currently making waves. But Gigolo Tears have been making radically soft, queerfeminist howlpop between indie, hyperpop and rap since 2021. Feminist rage, zeitgeist and queer joy are sometimes translated into danceable, sometimes emotional songs. Features with LILA SOVIA, Power Plush & Trille have already attracted attention in 2024. And anyone who didn't have the menstrual anthem "Cramps" as a catchy tune in 2024 must have been dubbing under a rock on social media. Gigolo Tears has at least announced a new EP for 2025.
