In March, we are expanding our play dates to include a discussion about "Krummer Hund" in the Szenenraum. In an open discussion, the author of the highly acclaimed novel Juliane Pickel, the director of the production Jana Vetten and psychologist Nele Reitzner, who accompanied the rehearsal process, will exchange ideas. The event will be moderated by our artistic director and dramaturge Sonja Karadza.

"Krummer Hund" tells the story of 15-year-old Daniel, whose life is characterized by experiences of loss and anger, but also by a close friendship. But a car accident turns his life upside down again. The discussion offers the opportunity to explore the literary and psychological aspects of the production and to reflect together on the themes and issues raised by the play.

The young adult novel is examination material at secondary schools in Baden-Württemberg. Juliane Pickel is currently visiting schools and talking to pupils about the world she has created.
