Gershkovich Standard-Trio

Dominik Gershkovich is a versatile pianist, composer and singer from Leipzig. He studies jazz/pop at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Academy of Music and Theater and is the bandleader of the Gershkovich Trio, which combines precise compositions with improvisational freedom. In addition to his trio work, he performs in various formations and delights audiences with his dynamic playing and creative arrangements. Gershkovich is active on the German jazz scene, can be seen regularly at festivals and clubs, and also shows his passion for music on social media platforms such as Instagram.

Together with Paula Wünsch on bass and Heinrich Eiszmann on drums, Dominik Gershkovich has developed a varied repertoire of jazz classics that includes pieces by greats such as Miles Davis, Keith Jarrett and Chick Corea. These icons have had a decisive influence on the young pianist.
