Play by Philipp Löhle
Director: Jan Philipp Gloger
The production is based on a production of the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel/ Residenztheater from the 2007/08 season
Money must not be necessary! All possessions are to be rejected! Gospodin has his principles. And a llama, his livelihood - but Greenpeace has bagged it. Anette has taken his bed from the apartment they used to share, Hermann is borrowing the amplifier in his absence and Nadine is borrowing the TV for an art project. They all "help" him with jobs, advice and offers of integration into capitalist reality. But Gospodin is a denier. Even when a bag full of money turns up and upsets everything.
Philipp Löhle's wonderfully funny first work from 2007 tells the grotesque story of what happens when we try to live without money and possessions in the midst of capitalism. Jan Philipp Gloger looks back on his production at the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel, with which he began his career as a director.
