His name could be that of the main character in a Broadway musical. His character seems to have been borrowed from a Jules Verne novel. Miles Pitwell is a "gentle giant" with his 1.95 height and his approachable, attentive and loving manner.
As a stylish professor, Miles Pitwell transports the audience into a mystical magic show. His original tricks and experiments are based on events from myths and legends.

See how a ball turns into an egg, a spectator's message in a bottle disappears or the professor grabs a seemingly endless number of cards and coins out of the air. But suddenly an experiment goes wrong, affecting the professor and changing the course of the show to the extreme. The night in him is born and his dark side awakens! As "Professor Noctis", he takes his audience into a new world of illusions. Now the focus is no longer on classic magic tricks, but on shocking sensations such as being freed from a straitjacket or catching a bullet in a pistol.
