Do you still remember the songs of your childhood and youth?

Dresden musician and singer of the band Polarkreis 18 ("Allein Allein") Felix Räuber embarks on a unique musical journey through time to his roots, to our roots - here in the East. Räuber now brings the works he discovers on this journey to the stage in an exciting compilation.

What are the memories that are preserved and what is new to discover, what are the stories behind the songs? Which lines, which melodies make up our identity here in the East?

In his search for clues, Räuber also discovers true treasures such as unpublished songs by singer-songwriter Gerhard Gundermann, which will be performed live for the first time.

Since his early youth, Felix Räuber has been obsessed with all forms of music-making and the associated opportunity to give free rein to his feelings. At the age of 13, he founded his first band in the basement of his parents' house - the later No.1 hit indie pop star "Polarkreis 18".
Gold and platinum awards and an Echo nomination followed and the single "Allein, Allein" became one of the most successful German-language songs of all time and became a global hit.
After breaking up the band and branching out several times in the music industry in the following years, Felix Räuber finally developed his self-titled solo project in 2018.
This work crystallized his musical line. "I call my music 'cinematic pop' because it combines influences from film music, electronics and pop music."

Räuber's track "Après Minuit (feat. Schlindwein)" can be heard in the last season of the Emmy-nominated ABC & Netflix series "How to get away with murder" as well as the current season of the world-famous series "Grey's Anatomy".

Felix has also been working for over two years on the serial TV documentary "How does home sound?", in which he explores the surprising diversity and cultural density of contemporary life in the East in a personally motivated search for clues.
