In the organizer's words:

At the 5th GamesFestival, we will once again be celebrating games culture in all its facets.
Workshops, talks, play jams, exhibitions, cosplay, plays, tournaments and much more.

The GamesPrize25 will also be awarded at the GamesFestival. You can submit prototypes, games and videos about games (such as LetsPlays) until April 1, 2025 and win a total of 2000 euros.

The theme of GamesFestival25 is: The Unseen
We explore the unseen in gaming: the diversity of unheard stories, the magic of worldbuilding and paths into the games industry. Discover how creative worlds are created, what is hidden behind the scenes of game development and help shape the future of gaming.

The GamesFestival is organized by the ComputerSpielAkademie and the Bayerischer Jugendring. The CSA was founded in 2019 by the Munich Media Center of the JFF - Institute for Media Education and is financially supported by the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labor and Social Affairs, the City Youth Welfare Office of the City of Munich and Games Bavaria.
