FutureGirls! – Berufsorientierungstag für Mädchen* und junge Frauen* ab 12 Jahren

In the organizer's words:

FutureGirls! is taking place for the 14th time in Munich and is the career orientation day for all girls aged 12 and over.

30 professional women* will be on site as role models and can be interviewed in a 1:1 speed dating session. This will give you exclusive insights into their careers and everyday working life.

In addition, there will be a varied supporting program ranging from application photos and bookbinding to fun activities.

The event is suitable for coming with a group of girls. There is a certificate of attendance which can be used for application documents. The rooms are barrier-free. If participants need special support, they can let us know in advance.

The FutureGirls! want to counteract the consequences of gender-typical career choices, such as: lower income, fewer management positions, more frequent part-time work and fewer pensions. They want girls* and young women* to get to know many and varied role models for the entire professional spectrum.

The FutureGirls! are supported by Verena Dietl, 3rd Mayor of the City of Munich, who is the patron of FutureGirls!

Under the leadership of the Münchner Fachforum für Mädchen*arbeit, committed women from cooperating institutions have worked hard to make it possible for this day to take place.
