We can find important vitamins, minerals and trace elements in edible wild plants at any (!) time of year. This makes them an immune booster and local superfood. Now in spring, the sun not only entices us to go for a walk outside, but also brings out the first fresh shoots, flowers and lush green foliage of wild plants. The tender spring shoots are full of valuable ingredients and a true treasure of nature. Their healthy, original power can enrich our diet. Regional, seasonal and organic.

With this walk to wild corners in Westfalenpark, the journalist and certified specialist consultant Claudia Maschner wants to arouse curiosity - about nutrition with edible wild plants. How can we recognize the right plants? How are they used? There are the most important collection rules and tips to get you started with self-sufficiency right away.

Claudia Maschner is offering five guided tours throughout the year in 2025, each with a seasonal focus.
