Birdwatching digital - app for birdwatching
The varied landscape of Westfalenpark Dortmund is a wonderful place to marvel at the diverse birdlife. Birdwatching is becoming an increasingly popular hobby. Fortunately, because it is not only a relaxed and interesting leisure activity, but also supports scientific projects that contribute to bird conservation.
During a short excursion, we learn how observed species can be recorded, what breeding season codes are and how bird fans can exchange information in the "birder community". Thanks to good bird identification apps for smartphones, bird mapping (monitoring) is now quick, uncomplicated and a lot of fun. We'll try it out together - whether you're a beginner or an advanced birdwatcher.
In the "Knowhow to go - guided tours with focus" series, Westfalenpark employees share their knowledge with interested visitors - "Knowhow to go".
