Friday reading for families: "Seahorses are sold out" by and with Constanze Spengler
November 22, 2024, 4-5 p.m. in the
Fröbel book workshop in the Elbe shopping center (2nd floor)
What does a child do when left alone? Authors and illustrators Constanze Spengler and Katja Gehrmann take children and families on Mika's journey through the pet shop in the Friday reading at the Fröbel Book Workshop.
About the book
Mika's dad works at home, but is up to his ears in work. The promised visit to the quarry pond seems a long way off! To get some breathing space, he allows Mika to buy himself a pet ... Thus begins a wonderfully turbulent story, in the course of which one animal after another populates the apartment without the stressed dad noticing! The mouse is followed by a dog, the dog by a seal, the seal by a penguin, the penguin by a parrot, until finally a small but very musical elephant moves into the apartment ...
Recommended for families with children aged 4 and over. No registration required, Free admission.
