Experience an evening that combines literature with the language, culture and history of Albania. In the Romanfabrik, the hosts Dr. Jonela Hoxhaj (Honorary Consul of Albania in Hesse), Mikael GB Horstmann (City Councillor in the Frankfurt City Council) and Gregor Praml (Director of the Romanfabrik) will read from the novel Nachbeben by Dirk Kurbjuweit. Some of the novel's locations are in Albania at the beginning of the noughties. Afterwards, they will talk to their salon guests about the portrayal of Albania around the year 2000 and take a look at Albania today, a country in the heart of southern Europe, its inhabitants and Albanian art and culture. A fascinating evening full of insights and discussions - let yourself be enchanted by the Albanian language, culture and history!
