Club Infiné - Frànçois & The Atlas Mountains + Léonie Pernet

After the success of our previous label nights in Berlin, we're back to bring you a new dose of up-and-coming music and all things InFiné. This time Frànçois & The Atlas Mountains and Léonie P ernet will take the stage at Kantine am Berghain.

Frànçois & The Atlas Mountains

Frànçois & The Atlas Mountains have been active in the independent music scene for over ten years and have developed a very distinctive sound in the process. In 2003, Frànçois moved to the UK to the port city of Bristol, where he came into contact with influential figures in the freak folk scene such as Movietone and Panda Bear, who inspired his DIY approach.

In 2011, he became the first French artist to be signed to the legendary UK label Domino Records - a label that has hosted artists such as the Arctic Monkeys, Cat Power and Franz Ferdinand.

Today, he opens a new chapter and is the latest addition to InFiné. Inspired by memories, experiences and his inner world, Frànçois shapes his music with seriousness and sophistication. Fragility, modesty, delicacy - his voice is reminiscent of great contemporaries such as Devendra Banhart or Vincent Gallo, whose vocal style is sometimes reflected behind his uniquely French timbre.

His sixth studio album "Âge Fleuve", which will be released on January 31, is a work that impressively demonstrates what makes his music so unique.

Léonie Pernet

After Léonie Pernet took her first steps in the electronic music scene, it quickly became clear that she was destined for more. In 2018, she released her first solo album, composed film soundtracks and toured the world.

Over the years, the singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has composed and performed a variety of songs that are as moving as they are poetic. Her upcoming album explores themes of revolt and community, told through a poetic lens - very much in the style of Léonie Pernet. The album's first single, "Réparer Le Monde", poses a simple but profound question:

"Is it our responsibility to repair a little piece of the world?"
