In the organizer's words:

Throughout history, cultures have often developed in isolation from each other, and so has their music. Fountainhead strives to foster a deeper understanding of the "other" while honoring and preserving individual cultural identities.
The ensemble aims to connect these once separate musical traditions by celebrating the works of significant composers from the rich heritage of both Indian and European music.
music. Through new arrangements, the ensemble seeks to deepen its connection to this musical heritage and reinterpret it for today's listeners.
