Are you still living? - A photo exhibition on displacement in Berlin

How is Berlin changing in the wake of gentrification?

Who is affected by displacement? Who benefits? How is resistance organized and what's happening in the process? The photo exhibition sheds light on the highly topical issues of displacement and gentrification from ten different perspectives.

You are invited on a visual journey through a Berlin in transition:

About unscrupulous business models in the housing shortage, a real estate industry in search of returns and deals, apartment blocks threatened with demolition and community projects, the displacement of a Kreuzberg store and Neukölln bones.

The photographic narratives were created as the final project of the reportage photography project course (led by Ann-Christine Jansson). The exhibition at Fotogalerie Friedrichshain will be on display for three weeks - at the opening on January 30, two guided tours, a panel discussion on February 5 and the finissage on February 21, we want to get into conversation with you.
