What challenge does a band face when they release their fifth to eighth album (depending on how you count) in seven years? A band that has quickly gone from being an insider tip to a permanent fixture in the indie scene? Whose live shows have long been on any serious "100 things to see before you die" list? Who sell out the fucking Kölner Philharmonie and give their fans an emotional harvest festival to never forget?

Fortuna Ehrenfeld have found their sound, their idea, their view of life and art, which, in addition to the big, the whole and the emotional, also likes to pay attention to the strange, the banal and sometimes the sheer nonsense. The challenge now is not to settle into the cozy apartment with the plush on the wall and the strobe in the corner, but to park the moving van with the engine running in front of the house.

Here on the album, whose cover is adorned with a disco ball for good reason, the danceable songs exude an unstoppable springboard feeling. But the gods have placed melancholy before escalation, and Fortuna Ehrenfeld once again prove their uniqueness in this field.
